Christmas Thru New Years Part 2

Okay, so I was telling you about the December festivities. I could go on and on. So much happened. We went to Texas for Christmas and stayed for like 5 days. That's a long one for us. Christmas Eve night we had a get together with my family. It was good to see the whole family, cousins and all. There were almost more kids there than adults. My aunt pulled out the old school photo album as most family members do when they want to impress the new son-in-law and Adam got a kick out of making fun of not only me, but my whole family. My Uncle Tim made some homemade wings that blew Wing Stop out of the water and we just ate and had some old fashioned fun. Some pics...

The famous Maw Maw...known for the "Stretch and go again" and many other quirky things. Adam and I stayed with Maw Maw Christmas Eve but had to leave the next day due to the "pillow protectors" that she had on the guess bed pillows...it sounded like we were sleeping on bags of potato chips all night so after throwing one across the room in the middle of the night we decided to head over to finish off our week stay at Lauren and Jerry's! Sweet Maw Maw will be 72 in 2 days. Happy Birthday Maw Maw!

I love my family, that's why I posted so many pictures. Some are lost, some love Jesus, but all love me and Adam and we love them and have a future and eternal hope for them all from youngest to oldest. We have had hard days and some good ones in between but they are my first and oldest friends and I love them:)

Okay, so Christmas Day we didn't take any pictures, but it was eventful. The gospel was shared in a real way that day, so we will see what comes of it. Adam and I ended the night with Summer and Brittain at the movies seeing The Great Debaters. Adam and I really loved that movie. Its one I am buying for sure.

We stayed at Lauren and Jerry's and they were the best hosts ever even though they weren't even home. They left us a sweet note and CASH!!! for dinner, now that was a fun surprise! Thanks again y'all!

We had a lot of fun but it was a roller coaster...we had lunch with the Chandlers which is always more than fun...

Other highlights...I visited my dad, grandparents and sister and Adam and I got into one of our top 3 worst fights (God is working on us:)) I had some mall time and cheesecake with Summer and we celebrated Darragh's 30th birthday with a surprise party. Talk about HAVING NO IDEA! It was the most fun because I have never seen anyone THAT SURPRISED! She cried and was so happy:) It was fun to see. Good job LeCrae and friends.

And finally...oh my Lord...This was an old school dance party and Adam vowed that he wasn't leaving without "breakin' a sweat" and boy did he keep his promise. Y'all this brotha thought he was on Soul Train. At one point we had a soul train line and he got out there and did a move and literally jumped into guy splits on the right leg and pulled up and quickly did the left splits like he was James Brown.
